Project Brief
At the point that I started this project the Home Insurance product had been designed and taken to user testing. I was asked to make improvements to the problems identified in the user testing.
Child page redesign & Guerilla testing
We identified that the child pages needed re-designing as a result of confusion in the user testing. So I created three alternative versions of the design and took them out to guerilla test.
Geurilla testing report
I then put the results together into a report for the content team so that they could see the changes that we needed to make to help users comprehend the pages better. There was a general confusion betweeen the Home products and this was the main thing that needed to be addressed.
Designing the wireframes in Sketch
Once I had all of the information I needed I made a start on designing the new journeys. I took a mobile first approach to the designs, ensuing I had the mobile version designed before working on the desktop
I worked very closely with the product manager and the team in france to ensure the new designs would stay in line with customers expectations, and make it more usable for them.
