The 1939 Register
Create the visual and UX designs for the 1939 Register transcript and payment journey.
My process
Step 1. Discovery Phase
Creating initial wireframes and testing them with users
Step 2. Whiteboard sketching & wireframing
Taking the feedback, refining the designs & defining the strategy
Step 3. Visual Design
Creating a visual identity for the page around the
‘bring your past to life’ Findmypast mission
Step 4. User Journey's and CTA's
Working out the CTA’s and core user journeys based on the business proposition
Step 5. User Testing
User testing the new designs & flows.
Step 6. Refinements
Refining the designs based on the second round of testing wireframes in Axure.
Step 7. More user testing
We conducted a further round of user testing before launch to ensure the flows worked.
Step 8. More refinements
The user testing helped us work out some areas that needed some changes to make the process very clear for users.
Final Designs
